"Soulful, textured and authentic."
- Tim Van Schmidt, Coloradoan
In 1994 John Magnie organized the first of three informal get-togethers in his home town of Fort Collins, Colorado. These were recorded by Russ Hopkins and released by KIVA Records annually as "The Parlor Sessions". After years of touring and recording for Atlantic Records with the subdudes, Magnie was trying return to his creative wellspring, drawing together songwriters and musicians from his local community. The sessions feature Magnie, fellow subdude band mates and Fort Collins residents Steve Amedee and Tim Cook, and more than a dozen other Northern Colorado songwriters and musicians. A great collectors item for subdudes fans.
Compilation includes:

Rhonda - The Parlor Sessions II
